The Above Network

We are capitalizing on our best-in-class online communities that embrace the collaborative culture of the crowd and extending their rare wisdom into several alternative offline distribution channels. This core idea is our Collaborative Content Ecosystem, defined as, “A continually evolving self-feeding content ideation, creation, and publishing ecosystem.” The result is uniquely satisfying experiential environment for participants in niche content markets online.
The core idea is deceptively simple, several content products and delivery vehicles surround a vibrant online niche content community. This system of satellite products repackage and “rebroadcast” the brilliance of the online crowd to a broader market. The offline content will invite consumers to come online and participate with content creators and inspire new ideas and concepts that makes its way into the various channel extensions.
As an example, imagine the working process for our soon-to-be released book, “Above Top Secret,” written by best-selling author, Jim Marrs:
Content Development: Mr. Marrs focuses attention on the topical discussion forum on UFO’s and aliens. The author gathers reference material from the thousands of topics and discussions.
Content Creation: Mr. Marrs has engaged several members of the community, as well as renowned experts, to refine the ideas, add unique commentary, maintain the “collaborative” spirit, and develop a singular voice that expresses the varied content.
Content Distribution: The book is months away from publication and will enjoy national distribution through a major niche publisher.
Content Expansion: A key unique feature of the book content, jacket, and presentation is the constant invitation to visit the content community and either expand upon what is presented in the book, or directly engage Mr. Marrs in questions.
Content Re-imagination: As readers continue to join the discussion and collaborate with Mr. Marrs on ideas and experiences, new ideas for follow-up editions emerge and are developed. Or, new authors may step forward with new ideas inspired by the discussion.
Content Development: The cycle continues as the community continues to grow from new users of offline content, new ideas for content properties, and new book projects emerge.
We are developing several extensions of the ecosystem into daily talk radio, television programming, video, newsletters, and more. If you’d like to learn more about our specific plans for the ecosystem concept, or engage our executive team in developing additional extensions, contact us here.
